The Joined Roots – Patience – A Reflection

These little reflections The Joined Roots and Patience were authored by Akiane kramarik between the ages of 7-11 in her book titled My Dream Is Bigger Than I – Memories of Tomorrow – Part Six Page 282 — “You will need your own copy of this book to view the full text of this poem.  I limit quotes for the purpose of discussion and to follow copyright guidelines that allows for limited quotes.”

The featured image I choose for this reflection is a theme based outfit that I put together thanks to party city…Inspired by one of my very favorite movies in the world…Can you guess that movie?…Do go on and have a wee guess…I will tell you the name of that movie later on in this reflection…That’s how you keep you readers in suspense…Or is it?—The reader gets to choose…In The Joined Roots Akiane writes…”True teachers learn from learners.” — Leaving out a portion of this reflection as part of building the mystery that is Akiane Kramarik and to encourage my readers to purchase your own copy of this amazing book of prose…Also, to follow copyright guidelines that allows for limited quotes for purposes of a review which I am doing in the form of this series of reflections…In Patience Akiane writes…”We never find patience by looking for it. We find patience by looking for a purpose”…I leave out a portion of this reflection as well…I love The Joined Roots quote from Akiane because “true teachers learn from learners”…Very true and in my previous post I shared a mystical vision that I experienced as a child growing up in Ireland as well as ways God spoke to me as a small child…God told me it is the children who must teach the world…I would agree…As a mother I learned a lot from my growing boy and these reflections are based on the writings of a girl between the ages of 7 and 11…This girl is now a lovely young lady…I agree it is the children who must teach the world…I love what Akiane writes about Patience it is so true that when we find a purpose then patience is developed and nurtured…I have had many do overs in my work which increases my patience…I am not one for patience I am rather impatient as a general rule…Working on both my blog and you tube channels has helped me to grow in patience…I found a purpose and I stick to this purpose which has aided in the development and growth of my capacity for patience…My son told me that I am like a guy at times…I have to be both mother and father to my son…This calls for macho and bro abilities that I have had to develop to keep my son on the straight and narrow…I can also compartmentalize now a skill I had to learn how to develop as I am a very emotional person…I am still very much a female a woman but I do compartmentalize now and I leave emotions off the table in dealing with my bright boy and in other dealings…I had no choice but to develop bro skills because that is what I have been given to deal with…I must play the role of both mother and father to my son…I had to learn how to think like a man…I am very basic now in my thinking and I give no one space in my head for more than twenty minutes at a time…I keep myself very busy which helps me a lot…I changed how I shop now…I notice that when I make a purchase I will receive enticements to make more purchases via coupons and rewards…I noticed that these coupons and rewards once dictated how I shop…I no longer shop for rewards…I am no longer motivated by rewards…I buy what I need at the time for whatever price I can afford in that moment then I am done and move on…So that if I get a coupon or discount I forget about it because I am not allowing rewards to dictate my shopping habits…This is a massive change for me this is huge for a woman to be able to say this particularly as an emotional shopper because I once was a very emotional shopper… For me to change how I shop is a bloody miracle…For years I was an emotional shopper I made comfort purchases that I did not need…I do not do this anymore…Ok!!! — Have you guessed the movie my themed outfit is inspired by? — Drum roll please —- The movie Alice In Wonderland – Particularly The Rabbit who was often late for something or another…As a thank you for reading this reflection and for your likes shares and follows…Enjoy my crazy jokes section on you tube and other silly things that I do on You Tube such as my silly songs section and silly excuses for not dating or going to weddings…I do many silly things on You Tube as I take the business of being very silly way too seriously…I am so glad others do not take me seriously at all…Of course I must include the white rabbit song to tickle your ears…
