Unfamiliar – Those That Follow – A Reflection

These little reflections Unfamiliar and Those That Follow were authored by Akiane kramarik between the ages of 7-11 in her book titled My Dream Is Bigger Than I – Memories of Tomorrow – Part Six Page 257 – “You will need your own copy of this book to view the full text of this poem.  I limit quotes for the purpose of discussion and to follow copyright guidelines that allows for limited quotes.”

The featured image I choose for this reflection is for my latest crazy song titled “I wuz not born that way – N that’s A-Ok” …In this performance I am claiming my own space in this crazy world by coming out of my closet and declaring that I am very gay too except I am not homosexual…I am simply a bright joyful and exuberant person…This is my crazy sense of humor looks like and what coming out of the closet looks like for a crazy comedian like me in the year 2020 during a pandemic…I incorporate my face mask as part of my artistic expressions these days…I will share my latest crazy performance at the end of this reflection…In Unfamiliar Akiane writes…”your efforts might still be unfamiliar with both time and humor”…I left out a portion of that reflection as part of building the mystery that is Akiane Kramarik and to encourage my readers to purchase your own copy of this amazing book of prose…Also to follow copyright guidelines that allows for limited quotes for purposes of this review which is in the form of a series of reflections…In Those That Follow Akiane writes…”those that follow love — lead”…I left out a portion of that reflection as well…When I read Akiane’s prose written at such a tender young age…This prose has multidimensional messages that transcends time and space and lasts for all eternity…For example what was considered good comedy many years ago would not be well received today and what is considered good comedy today would not have been well received years ago…Comedy like anything in life has a time and place…For example under the right set of circumstances the following joke could be well received I will share it with you here…This is the kinda party invitation no one ever wants to receive…”Say I’ma having a pity party today at precisely three o’clock in the afternoon or at the 15:00 hour – the only way you get to come is if you are willing to bring your own box of tissues…I’m tellin ya it will be a massive sob fest.” — In the right time and space when the ones on the receiving end of that silly joke are calm and in a good head space that kinda humor can be well received and appreciated…Now if you are in the presence of one or ones who are grieving or mourning or going through genuine emotional hardship then it would not be considerate wise or prudent to share a silly joke like that for obvious reasons…The timing would be way off and those on the receiving end would likely become even more upset or angry over the lack of empathy and timing on the part of the comedian joker…Now there are times in our lifespans when all of us are obliged to follow those who lead us during our school years and training years…Then there are times in life when we get to lead and others follow us…Narcissistic leaders often get very angry when others refuse to listen or follow their lead…Whereas ones who are not narcissistic leaders do not become angry rather they engage in dialogue to empower those to decide whether or not to follow is a good plan…For example if a business plan is solid effective and a good plan then many will follow that plan or model because it is a proven business plan to follow…If following a plan or lead does not make good sense then rather than becoming angry like a dictator the leader who is not a narcissist will take the time to sell or teach their prospective followers why following their lead makes sense…Strong leaders do not need to coerce or force others to follow their lead…Many follow strong leaders because to do so makes sense…Parents who love each other and their children follow love and as such lead because their love blossoms through their children whom parents must then raise to adulthood to become — God willing — well rounded adults who serve our greater communities locally and around the world to the best of their abilities…As a thank you for reading this reflection enjoy my latest crazy performance titled “I wuz not born that way N that’s A-Ok!…Now I would like to add more crazy humor here…Such as instead of saying in bed say in my closet…A crazy concept to be sure…So to understand me read this…Say would you like a sandwich in my closet or let’s go on a date in my closet…That is supposed to sound daft or crazy or way off…This is called playing with words which is something creative writers get to do…So to continue the crazy play on words…Ya could say this…Say would ya like to go on a sex caper with me in my closet which could lead to my bed if you have good manners…Seriously silly and crazy talk which if ever used on someone you would expect that one to run for the hills and if that one did not run for the hills and agreed to go on said sex caper in your closet that could lead to your bed for good manners then you my dear may wish to run for the hills…Ha ha…Creative writing can be a lot of fun and you can have a lot of fun playing with words…Another way to talk silly is to say this…Say I am having a caper in my closet would ya like to join me?…The caper in this case would be actual capers used in my food…Tis supposed to sound daft crazy and way off…Folks do not eat or meet or go on capers in their closets — or do they? — Mouah! Ya never know…Any who instead of any how thank you for reading this reflection and for your likes shares and follows…
