Just One Of You – A Reflection

This poem titled Just One Of You was authored by Akiane kramarik at age 11 in her book titled My Dream Is Bigger Than I – Memories of Tomorrow – Part Four Page 178 “You will need your own copy of this book to view the full text of this poem.  I limit quotes for the purpose of discussion and to follow copyright guidelines that allows for limited quotes.”

This poem Just One Of You consists of five stanzas with one line in the first stanza and four lines in the second third and fourth stanza and one line in the last stanza…The featured image or photograph I choose for this reflection is of a piece of art work that I found at a charity shop in Ireland…I present this photograph sideways on purpose to show how the world we live in today is upside down or topsy turvy….I will now quote from Akiane’s poem…”the frames I carry are too heavy — the mass of senses is not complete without a saturation of cadmium red —maximum control of drama and attraction”….Wow such depth of perception from an eleven year old girl never ceasing to amaze me…Thank you Akiane for amazing me a forty seven year old adult who is awe inspired by your work…I will leave out the rest of the poem leaving it up to my readers to obtain your very own copy of this awesome book of poems…And to follow copyright guidelines that allows for limited quotes for purposes of this review in the form of reflections…To me the reader of this poem the maximum control of drama and attraction written by Akiane talks about couples in love who us birth control in all its forms to control the birth of children to avoid the drama of the burden of birthing and raising children…Weddings without the drama of children seems to be the preferred order of business for many married couples…As a thank you for reading this reflection enjoy my song titled My White Butterfly a birthday song I wrote for my beloved son’s twelfth birthday…I dedicate this post to my own beloved son whose circumstances of birth were not ideal or controlled thanks be to the God of life…………Who brought good out of a horrible situation a precious new life…………For which I remain eternally grateful…………

For my beloved son who inspires me to be the best I can be…………
