Celestial Warmth – A Reflection

This poem titled Celestial Warmth was authored by Akiane kramarik at age 10 in her book titled My Dream Is Bigger Than I – Memories of Tomorrow – Part Four Page 169 “You will need your own copy of this book to view the full text of this poem.  I limit quotes for the purpose of discussion and to follow copyright guidelines that allows for limited quotes.”

This poem Celestial Warmth consists of three stanzas with three lines in the first stanza and four lines in the second stanza and three lines in the last stanza…The photograph that I choose for this reflection is one taken by my son of me his silly mammy delivering mail to the faeries at a cute fairy garden on Nantucket in Cape Cod, MA…I will now quote from Akiane’s poem…”Each moment in April love is a stripe melting snow cones.”…Leaving out the middle stanza I quote from the last stanza…”Wiggling toes in the fog is celestial warmth.” To me this poem is mystical in nature and describes all the magical beauty found in children…Children are a handful to be sure yet children are also delightful…Children are known for their imaginations which can be wild at times and for their magical thinking…Where mankind goes wrong is when we become adults yet we have not been properly formed to mature fully both spiritually and emotionally…We have many adults today who are like five year old children in adult bodies…I receive phone calls from all over the world for my job…I got a call recently from a woman serving our Military in Afghanistan…She was in the desert and the wind was very loud and fierce…I held onto to that phone call for her leaving it up to her to decide whether or not to hang up and try later…She was anxious but delighted to have reached a voice on the other line here in the USA…To that woman I am not much but to that military woman God love her I am home base I am a voice from home a voice from the USA…It did not matter to her or myself that due to the loud wind at that desert that for thirty minutes she repeated who she was and why she was calling at least twenty times…That did not matter…What mattered most in that moment was that she got to speak to a voice from home a voice from her beloved homeland the USA…Per strict guidelines she could not tell me much but that did not matter…All that mattered was that on this memorial day weekend that military woman was heard though the connection was terrible due to the high desert winds…I prayed for that woman and thanked her for her service…It was a privilege and an honor to be on the receiving end of a phone call like that…Many of us think that we have it hard forgetting that there are others whose struggles make our struggles look like child’s play…It is our men and women who serve our military around the world whose struggles are real that we must always remember to thank from our hearts for their service…I helped to talk down another woman who told me that her anxiety level at the beginning of her call to me was at 100% but by the time she was finished with our time together on the phone…Her anxiety was reduced to 30% which for folks who suffer from anxiety that is a marked difference…I helped another woman to understand ways negative energy can slow down her healing process and the importance of boundaries in her life…I helped that woman realize that a negative person who was once kind years before is no longer the same person due to years of bad choices…Many of us myself included can be fooled into believing that we can reconnect with old friends including our old childhood friends…You see for many of us we remember others from our past in a certain light or manner…Forgetting that as the years pass people can and do change…Making reconnecting not safe wise or prudent for many sound reasons…People change as the years pass sadly many change for the worse which means that their spirits change making that once kind boy or girl that you knew when a monster whom you do not want to know now…Sometimes it is difficult for folks to figure that stuff out…I help many people with situations like that…Many people today are children in adult bodies whose sense of entitlement and perceptions of reality is sadly often grotesquely skewed…I help many adults to navigate the quagmire of childhood memories to come out the other end triumphant victors over past memories that once clouded their otherwise sound judgement….Never allow fond memories to cloud your judgment of the monsters in our midst who were once childhood friends or acquaintances….For many adults myself included it can take years to fully mature spiritually and emotionally…The Journey’s Of Our Eternity is unique to each person…Thank you for taking your journey with me as we all trudge our way to happy destiny – Heaven – when we reach our life’s end…As a thank you for reading this reflection…Enjoy my Fake Diva humor playlist on You Tube…I decided that at the age of 47 I will never be a real diva…So I might as well be a fake diva…Oh yes the fake diva is daft I tell ya…
