A Perfect Score – A Reflection

This poem titled A Perfect Score was authored by Akiane kramarik at age 9 in her book titled My Dream Is Bigger Than I – Memories of Tomorrow – Part Three Page 119 “You will need your own copy of this book to view the full text of this poem.  I limit quotes for the purpose of discussion and to follow copyright guidelines that allows for limited quotes.”

This poem A Perfect Score consists of four stanzas with six lines each…The photograph I choose for this reflection is one of my favorite photographs from my time in Ireland…The scriptures that come to my mind when I look at this lovely photo is…Habacuc Chapter three verse six “The hills of the world were bowed down by the journeys of his eternity”…I will quote from the last two stanzas of this amazing poem leaving out the first two stanzas…You will need your own copy of this poem to follow the poem in its entirety…”When both riches and rags return to dust and when both champions and losers are homeless it is too late for obedience…As Mortality separates from immortality everyone is stunned to find out who is where And only love scars keep a perfect score”…Wow this poem is amazing and to me the reader of this poem and author of these reflections…This poem speaks about heaven and earth…That on earth it seems the winners are the rich and the losers are the poor. Yet in Heaven there are not rich or poor and as the last stanza says “everyone is stunned to find out who is where” because in heaven the poor receive a special place whereas the wealthy on earth likely occupy hellfire or a smaller part of heaven…After all those in poverty on earth suffer…The scars of love whereby the children discarded by the wealthy who are spiritually too poverty stricken to know to keep their own children by birthing these children these are the scars this poem speaks about the scars of discarded lost love and false love…Children discarded like trash in the form of “medical waste”…These children occupy heaven and the wicked who caused these scars occupy hell…The scriptures say that the humble shall be exalted and the poor shall be given good things and the rich shall be sent empty away…This applies to the kingdom of heaven which is not the kingdom of earth…Only the God of life keeps a perfect score in the book of life from which the wicked and fallen have been removed for all eternity as their reward for causing the scars of love…As a thank you for reading this reflection enjoy my song titled The Princes of Breifne in this song I sing about how I wear the scars of the Princes of Breifne mystically speaking….I express myself as a work of art nothing more and nothing less…This is the last reflection for Part III of Akiane’s amazing book of poems….
