This Poem Off The Rail consists of three stanzas with eight lines each. The last three lines of this poem says it all – “with open eyes infinity bares my own conception”. The title Off The Rail tells me the reader that the unborn child in this poem is talking about his or her own conception and how his or her own conception was now Off The Rail. This means to me the reader that while this child’s journey did indeed begin this child’s journey was forced to end before its time. The opening lines of this poem speaks to this “my journey begins but the passing train will not pick me up anytime soon”. This is so profound and sad because this child is saying it will not be allowed to be born due to abortion on demand. Or if this child survives the ordeal of abortion this child will be left to die like so many others selected for abortion on demand. The second stanza describes the horrors of abortion on demand with these words. “bent nettles on the ground – each with a ribbon . . . hiding behind me strangers prickle my burns – i sharpen the hardship and i rub my soaked eyes – oh the time has so many crossroads for the future -” The i is once more in lowercase on purpose to highlight the voice of this little child. This tiny unborn child with no one nothing to defend or protect this child from its own mother who has scheduled its demise via abortion on demand. To say that mankind has gone Off The Rail is an understatement. We have billions dead who are unaccounted for not mourned over properly and totally ignored by unjust laws and the war of words such as “choice” and “abortion”. Well the God of life has certainly heard the silent screams of the unborn children and their ocean of blood has not gone unaccounted for. Their blood cries out to the Most High God of life for vengeance and yes vengeance will be for the God of Life. There is an old saying that says “let vengeance be God’s” I agree not one of us is equipped to deal with these crimes we are all too small anyway and what was done is too great and overwhelming for many of us little people. However, there is a God a creator who created this mighty frame. And this God of life of which there is only one of will have to intercede to help his creatures mankind. Our species has gone Off The Rail. Do take a moment of silence for the billions of unborn children not allowed to live after conception and those children prevented from conception whom God intended to send to earth. We must all learn to take moments of silence for the worst war ever unleashed on mankind the silent deadly war of the womb.
