The Trap – A Reflection

This poem titled The Trap was authored by Akiane kramarik at age 7 in her book titled My Dream Is Bigger Than I – Memories of Tomorrow – Part One Page 35.  “You will need your own copy of this book to view the full text of this poem.  I limit quotes for the purpose of discussion and to follow copyright guidelines that allows for limited quotes.”

The poem The Trap consists of one long verse with 30 lines.   I will quote some of the words that Akiane writes in special quotes which to me means the man the child in this poem is speaking to is Jesus Christ.  I start with Akiane’s words first “I reach for the stranger’s hand. “Who are you?” “The path you wanted to pave is already being paved.” “Why will no one touch it?” I ask again.  “Do vines fall off the leaves?” “Who signed all the leaves?”‘ “Isn’t the light my signature? Isn’t the dark the eraser?”  The poem ends as follows “Who are you?” I ask the gentle face. “Do not worry what you can take from here.  Whoever walks in the world-lover’s footsteps will fall into the most expensive trap…”  Akiane Kramarik age 7 page 35 titled The Trap in My Dream Is bigger than I – Memories of Tomorrow.  To me the gentle face talking to the child in this poem is Jesus Christ.  The lost or those that follow the ways of the world and accuse Jesus Christ of being a thief.  Jesus Christ speaks when he says “Isn’t the light my signature?”  Meaning Jesus Christ is the true light.  Then Jesus Christ tells the child in Akiane’s poem “Isn’t the dark the eraser?”  Which highlights the reality that many crimes are done in the dark and children are being destroyed wholesale via abortion and contraception and all forms of birth control crimes done in the dark erasing nations, futures and generations.  The devastation is vast and cannot be measured by mortal man.  Yes Jesus Christ is right when he says “whoever walks in the world-lover’s footsteps will fall into the most expensive trap…”  The most expensive trap is the web of deceit the web of lies by jezebel and her idols who demand their idolaters to sacrifice their children to baal and other false gods.  The children are no more for they were sacrificed on the altar of convenience and choice and the trap that billions fall into is the trap of idolatry and the sacrifices demanded by their idols which will land many into the pit of hell.  Hell is “the most expensive trap.”  The price many pay for convenience and choice is their very souls sold to the devil for a price the blood of their unborn children.  Horrible how billions have been deceived into worshiping a god of death and they call the true Jesus Christ a thief…. As mentioned in Akiane’s poem titled The Trap as follows “He is a thief,” they accuse.”‘
