A write up on Akiane Kramarik’s book of prose and reflections titled. My Dream is Bigger than I Memories of Tomorrow

The Lamentations of the UnbornAkiane Kramarik wrote these poems between the ages of 7 and 11. The scripture that speaks to me concerning the great wisdom given to Akiane at such a young age is: Matthew Chapter 12 Verse 25 and I quote Douay Rheims Holy Bible here: “At that time, Jesus answered and said: I confess to thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent and hast revealed them to little ones.” When I first purchased my book which is signed by Akiane, I browsed through it then set it aside and almost forgot that I owned it. The time I purchased her book my little boy was a wee baby and I was a very busy new mother. It was not until last year 2017 that I really studied it and now realize what a great treasure is in it. For those who never heard of Akiane Kramarik her incredible story can be found online. If you search her name you will find her story. This is explained on the Copyright Page of Akiane Kramarik’s book. I quote it here: “All rights reserved, No part of this book may be reproduced or transmitted in any form or by any means, electronic or mechanical, including photocopying, recording, or by information storage and retrieval systems, without the written permission of the publisher, except by a reviewer who may quote brief passages in a review.” With this strict guideline to follow. I encourage the reader to purchase your own book from Akiane Kramarik titled My Dream is bigger than I then you can follow along with my write up and come up with your own interpretations as well. What I love about the great wisdom in Akiane’s prose is what Akiane says on the Forward Page xxxiii “…A reader is invited to figure out who “I” and “YOU” are in each story…” This means that we are all free to interpret her prose in our own unique way as we understand her work. This is exciting since we are all unique and can offer unique interpretations. I will limit my write up to how Akiane’s work speaks to me as a mother. If you already have your own book then take it out and follow along. If not then you can purchase your own book online and follow along. I leave it to the reader to find Akiane Kramarik’s book online to purchase. Akiane’s book has five parts so I will write in that order. Focusing on the individual five parts made up of various titles of prose and reflections. I will limit my quotations of her work to follow the copyright guidelines set forth in her book. I end this introduction with the scriptures what God says about giving wisdom to the little ones and hiding wisdom from the learned. In Matthew Chapter 12 Verse 25 and I quote Douay Rheims Holy Bible here “At that time, Jesus answered and said: I confess to thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent and hast revealed them to little ones.” This is why I believe Akiane Kramarik was given such great wisdom as a little one. When you read Akiane’s incredible story it is clear to see that Heaven instructed Akiane with wisdom beyond her years. Thank you Akiane Kramarik for your great gift to the world of lovely art and prose thus teaching us to appreciate true beauty once more.
